What this service is

Push SMS delivers order notification SMS on behalf of WooCommerce stores. It is operated by Host The Website. You use it through the Push SMS for WooCommerce plugin installed on your own store.

Credits and payment

What you may send

This service is for transactional messages to your own customers about their own orders.

You may not use it to send:

You are responsible for having your customers' consent to message them.

Shared sender

Messages are delivered through a shared sender number, so your store name does not appear as the sender. Because of that we add it to the start of every message automatically, from the store name you give us — it is not optional, and it counts towards the length of the message. Because the sender is shared, misuse by one store affects every other store, which is why we enforce the rules above strictly.

Suspension

We may suspend a store immediately and without notice if we believe it is sending messages that breach these terms, if its sending pattern suggests the site has been compromised, or if a mobile operator requires it. We will tell you why. Unused credits are not forfeited by a suspension.

Limits

Each store has a daily and per-minute sending limit. These exist to contain a compromised site, not to inconvenience a busy one — contact us if you need them raised.

Availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Delivery depends on mobile operators and on our upstream SMS provider, neither of which we control. We are not liable for indirect losses arising from a message that was delayed or not delivered.

Changes

We may change these terms or the price of credits. Material changes will be announced by email to the address registered with your store, at least 14 days before they take effect. Credits already bought keep the rate you paid.
